As owner of Traditional Lines, Ltd., I create one-of-a- kind renditions of classic and antique wooden watercraft.  However, in addition, models of modern powerboats can be commissioned.  All models are created one at a time from scratch... Never a Kit!  Boat models start with my creating shop drawings for the project based on your photos or other information along with my extensive amount of reference materials.  The model is then made from these drawings.  Next a solid hull is sculpted from clear, dry, solid mahogany.  It is then fashioned to reflect the original craft's wooden heritage and classic design.  The shop drawings become part of the commission and are sent along with the completed model.

Finished pieces are approximately scaled 1" per 1'  on the original.  Thus a 21' original would result in a 21" model.  However the model can be scaled up or down depending on the individual need.
